Yoga Leaf offers 10 programmes: |
- Basic Hatha
This program provides a comprehensive approach to basic yoga for beginners who want to understand the yoga system. It consists of 10 sessions, each of which lasts 2 hours. In each session, you will learn about centering, pranayama (breath work), asanas (postures), mudra and techniques of relaxation and meditation. There will be also discussions about health and the state of well-being, meditation, ayurveda, mudra and bandha, the Chakra system, healthy lifestyle, and many more. Upon completing the program, you will gain better understanding of yoga itself and how to practice it in everyday life. Limited number of participants.

- General Hatha
This class offers a gentle-unhurried-paced yoga in order to learn how to do postures accurately. Using the Sivananda Yoga method, you will learn the basic 12 asanas systematically as well as various basic techniques and yogic philosophy.

- Gentle Hatha
This regular one and a half hour class (1.5 hours) offers Hatha Vinyasa Yoga (flowing Yoga style) which flows gently. This class is designed for beginners or those who prefer a gentler and more contemplative yoga session. This class consists of:
- Regular Gentle Hatha (for public)
- Gentle Yoga for Senior Citizen (for 50 years old and above)

- Morning and Evening Yoga
This regular one and a half hour class (1.5 hours) offers Hatha Vinyasa Yoga for those who have begun practicing yoga for quite some time. Each session consists of centering, breath work, asanas, relaxation and short meditation. Morning yoga is designed to invigorate our body, refresh our mind, improve concentration and encourage positive thoughts at the beginning of the day. Whilst Evening Yoga is tailored to quiet down the mind, emotion and release tension from the body. This is good to begin a good night's rest.

- Kids Yoga
This one-hour yoga class is designed for children. Believing that every child is beautiful, bountiful and blissful, we aim to refine children's motor ability, improve their concentration, and bring comforts and self-esteem.
During the session children may also enjoy activities such as games, story-telling, art & craft, visualization and affirmation. The class is divided into three age groups:
- 3 - 5 (toddler)
- 6 - 10 (kiddy class)
- 11 - 15 (Early teen class

- Prenatal Yoga
A special class for pregnancy of 3 - 9 months old. A gentle yoga specially tailored according to conditions of the body during pregnancy. It concentrates on breath work, relaxation, visualization and meditation as self-assistance which will calm the mind as well as strengthen oneself during pregnancy. In other words, it will prepare the mother physically, mentally and spiritually for childbirth.
The session consists of centering, breath work, modified postures, relaxation technique, and meditation. Limited number of participants.

- Meditation with Yoga Nidra
It is a 75-minute meditation session with Yoga Nidra (Yogic sleep). It is beneficial for relaxing the body, developing awareness, improving consciousness and sharpening the mind. It is a good media for introspection and contemplation.
It begins with stretching through gentle asanas in order to release tension from the body and mind, then followed by savasana (corpse pose) and ends with meditation as follows:
- Breathing Moments
- Releasing any tension and negativity through breathing
- Cleansing Chakras
- Visualization
- Self Contemplation
- Stilling the mind

- Yoga Leaf Goes To School
We offer in-house yoga classes for children and adolescents conducted at schools or universities. Yoga is a very good medium to train their concentration, increase their self-confidence and self-esteem. A regular yoga training will develop the positive sides of your children.
We can arrange a yoga class in your children's schools or arrange a schedule for your yoga group in our place. Should you be interested, we would also be happy to do a free introductory yoga class in your place.

- Pilates
Pilates is a safe and sensible exercise system using a floor mat or equipment which aims to improve your core strength, flexibility, agility, and economy of motion. Developed from the rehabilitation techniques of Joseph Pilates, this program also can help regain your muscle balance, alleviate backpain and other chronic ailments, also strengthen the pelvic floor after give birth.
